About 8 years ago, I met Dawn, who turned out to be my very best friend. At the time I was participating in craft shows with another product line. It wasn't until Dawn started making jewelry, that I became motivated enough to change my craft. From there we joined forces and became 2 under Visualz. In 1986, a month after graduating, I became a window designer for Madigan's clothing store. Two short years later I was creating window designs for the discriminating Marshall Field's store in Oak Brook, IL. During my 12 years at Marshall Field's, I observed the merchandise change with the trends, in particular, jewelry. It wasn't until 1999 that I began to design my own line of jewelry.
My original, handcrafted styles immediately attracted attention from family and friends. Within no time I was regularly attending craft shows, and private home shows, as well as displaying my designs in distinctive boutiques throughout the Chicagoland area.
